A couple of days later found Emma sneaking out of her room yet again to grab some food while everyone was gone. As she walked out of the hallway and into the main room Emma froze staring at the green-skinned girl who moved busily around the Cave’s kitchen humming softly to herself. ‘Crap! I didn’t think anyone else was around.’ Emma grumbled to herself. She then began to slowly back out of the room, trying to be as quiet as possible. Before she could to the hallway, a cheerful voice called out, “Hey there! I’m making some chocolate chip cookies, did you need anything?” Emma blinked, the cheerful demeanor of the green-skinned girl overwhelming to her in her current antisocial state.
Emma stammered, “W-well…Thanks, but I-I’m really not interested…I-I just…I’ve gotta go sorry…Bye.”
With that last awkward statement Emma fled back down the hallway M’gann calling after her, “Wait
